2017 Workshop Information

As we begin to look forward to the 2017-2018 Promotion and Tenure cycle, the Office of the Associate Provost for Academic Administration has scheduled several workshops to assist individuals involved in the process. More information about each type of workshop will be forthcoming, but we encourage you to register now to reserve your seat. Each workshop will have two sessions to allow for flexibility. All workshops will be held in Morris Library, Room 752/754. Class size is limited, so register today. 

2017 Workshop Presentations

Faculty Candidates for Promotion and/or Tenure:

This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to faculty candidates in understanding the electronic dossier (eDossier) development procedure, including D2L-specific information, and to familiarize them with the University-wide Promotion and Tenure review process. Attendance is strongly encouraged for those putting forward a dossier in the 2017-2018 cycle. The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, April 12 – 3:00 – 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday, April 13 – 10:00 – 11:00 am

Department/School and College Coordinators:

This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to the department and college-level coordinators on the eDossier process, including D2L overview. These sessions are open to coordinators, faculty, and administrators involved in the eDossier process. The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, April 20 – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Tuesday, August 7 – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

For Deans, Directors, and Chairs:

This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to deans, directors, and chairs regarding their responsibilities in the promotion and tenure process and general guidance on the D2L eDossier process. The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Monday, April 3 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am
  • Thursday, April 6 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
