coba-rosenbaum.jpgDr. Mark S. Rosenbaum is the Dean of the College of Business at Hawai'i Pacific University. Prior to that, he served as Dean of the Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Department Chair and Professor of Retailing at the University of South Carolina, Kohl's Professor of Retail Marketing at Northern Illinois University, and Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Dr. Rosenbaum is the co-editor of the Journal of Services Marketing. He is also an Associate Editor for the Service Industries Journal. He is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Service Research, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Service Theory & Practice, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, and Health Marketing Quarterly. Dr. Rosenbaum is a three-time Fulbright recipient, bringing him to Cambodia (2009), Nepal (2015), and Uzbekistan (2019).

Rosenbaum's research is focused on transformative service research. Rosenbaum and his colleagues were the "pioneers" in developing this paradigm. Dr. Rosenbaum is also dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients through non-medical, service-oriented interventions. In recent years, Rosenbaum has concentrated on business education issues.

Rosenbaum earned a Ph.D. in marketing from Arizona State University in 2003. Rosenbaum also holds advanced degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago, New York University, and San Diego State University. He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. Rosenbaum worked in fine jewelry retailing for many years before entering academia.

Rosenbaum lives with his spouse and dog in Naperville, Illinois, and Honolulu, Hawaii.
